The Blessed Tree (Only Living Sahabi)

In The Name Of Allah The Most Gracious And The Most Merciful. This is the story about a Christian Monk who finally found our beloved Prophet Muhammad S.AW. when he was child. Bahira The Christian monk had live for many years in this one monastery worshipping God, praying to Him. One day as he was looking through his window, he saw the caravan coming from the Hijaz. The caravan approached with its camels, people and merchandises settling around a tree. He noticed that there was a boy in that caravan that always had a cloud shading him. If he moved to the east, it would move with him. And when he move to the west, it would followed him. And when this special boy arrived at the tree and sat beneath it, the cloud then passed the mission of shading this person to the tree.

Bahira was anxious with anticipation as he watched the visitors entered the monastery. Every time a person entered the monastery, it was as if he silently wanted to urge them to hurry, so that he might finally set eyes upon that person whom he had waiting for. It was as if he was saying 'my soul has been aching to meet his soul, and i thirst to look upon him, for i have been waiting long, fearing that death might claim me before setting my eyes upon him'.

So when the special boy entered the monastery, Bahira was intensely moved, and the conversation between him and Abu Talib begun.

Bahira: Whose boy is this?
Abu Talib: He is my son.
Bahira: Is he your son and you are his father?
Abu Talib: Yes
Bahira: The father of this boy cannot be alive.

Abu Talib was surprised and demanded to know how Bahira could have known this.

Abu Talib: He is my nephew. His father died when his mother was pregnant with him.
Bahira: Take care of this boy and protect him from the enemies, for HE IS THE PROPHET THAT WILL COME AT THE END OF TIME.

This is the miracle of our Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him. The tree that our Prophet Muhammad sat beneath it, live until now and it is the only living sahabi. MasyaAllah. Hopefully one day, all of us will come here, beneath this blessed tree, make dua' and prayer for our beloved Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him.
